DIGITAL IGWE MEETS DIGITAL RECTOR

The King of Obosi Kingdom, HRM Igwe Chidubem Iweka, flanked by his council members, stormed the office of the Rector, Federal Polytechnic Oko, Prof.Godwin Onu this afternoon, in recognition and solidarity of his developmental strides in the Polytechnic. In fact, it was a replica of what transpired between John the Baptist and Jesus Christ as Igwe Obosi baptized the Rector with encomiums of continuity. The Igwe who was stylishly dressed in his kingship robe of valor and pride said he came to identify with the Rector and confirm what he has been hearing from parents, students, staff, kinsmen, offline and online media about the structural and administrative feat achieved by the super cum digital Rector. After going round the school environment, the Igwe was perplexed at all he saw, especially the gigantic and fully equipped CBT hall in which he said he ones met students sitting on the floor for their semester exams some years ago. In his words “I admire men that go after excellence. I have heard a lot of good works you have been doing in the Polytechnic but thought all I heard were untrue. Now, I have confirmed the fact. This is the best i have seen so far. Yes, this is the only Federal Polytechnic Anambra has and we all must make it work. You have done a great service to the State and Nation by putting up all these wonderful edifices and changing the environment to world class. Having seen all these, my personal wish would have been for you to continue as a Rector; but there are more responsibilities awaiting you ahead of this one. God will bless your labor and it shall be well with you. ” The Igwe presented his literary works; “Ancient Cause”, a novel which won him a golden writer award and “So bright in darkness” to the Rector as his own contribution to the Institution. Showing his digital prowess, the Igwe signed these literary books to the bewilderment of all with a Spy-Pen having a torchlight which could be used even in the dark. The Rector thanked the Igwe for coming to identify with him and seeing developments done and those on-going. He said the Institution was not good at whistle blowing but in actions. Reminding the Igwe that he still maintains the status of the best Dean of faculty, an award given to him by the then VC of Nnamdi Azikiwe University because of his style of administration, the Rector said he swore in his mission statement to unleash his potentials in Federal Polytechnic Oko, which he has done and is still doing. The Rector who bragged that he has the best Staff in the entire nation, said that since 2010 he took over the mantle of rectorship; that no staff has been owed a month and never will such be heard in future.
